Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has exciting opportunities in our Manufacturing & Technical department. We are looking for young talented individuals for Packaging Learnership opportunities at our various regions in Elgin. The successful candidate will report directly to the Training Controller.

KEY PURPOSE
This qualification will contribute to the full development of the learner within the food and beverage packaging environment by providing recognition, further mobility, and portability within the field of beverage manufacturing and fast-moving consumer goods environment. Learners will complete the National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging, NQF Level 3 Learnership. 

Key Duties & Responsibilities

LEARNERSHIP:

The learner will be exposed to:

  • Bottling processes and procedures
  • Safety and housekeeping standards
  • Quality tests and specifications
  • Food handling practices

Skills, Experience & Education

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Grade 12 with Mathematics (NOT Mathematics Literacy) and physical sciences passed with 40%
  • Two South African Languages passed with 40%
  • Must not have previously completed the same qualification/learnership at another company or organization

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a South African Citizen
  • Must be Employment Equity candidate
  • Must have been unemployed at the time of appointment
  • Must be between 18-35 years of age
  • Candidates must be willing to commit for 12 months learnership program

A learner embarking on this Qualification needs to obtain a minimum value of 120 credits to qualify for the Qualification; this learnership runs over a period of 12 months.

If your R350 grant application was first rejected is eligible to appeals

 If your application was first rejected and you wish to be given another chance, there are appeals available. The SASSA R350 grant is eligible to appeals.


The deadline for submissions for this Special Relief of Distress grant is April 30. These are available to anyone who applied but were turned down between November and January.



Applications submitted between May 2020 and October 2020 are no longer subject to appeal.
