If your R350 grant application was first rejected is eligible to appeals

 If your application was first rejected and you wish to be given another chance, there are appeals available. The SASSA R350 grant is eligible to appeals.


The deadline for submissions for this Special Relief of Distress grant is April 30. These are available to anyone who applied but were turned down between November and January.



Applications submitted between May 2020 and October 2020 are no longer subject to appeal.


Sending Your Appeal

  1. Go to the SRD Grant website
  2. Scroll down to 'Application for reconsideration'
  3. Click on the yellow bar
  4. Fill in the required fields
  5. Check Application status
  6. Appeal here

Go to the SRD Grant website and select 'Application for reconsideration' from the list of options.

Toggle the yellow bar.

Complete the necessary fields.

You do not need to submit another appeal or get in touch with the SASSA office if you have previously done so.
